Last Friday, our class took a trip to Yorkshire Sculpture Park. I've never been here before and my first impression was that it looked beautiful! The weather was really sunny and warm, which started the day off perfectly.

There are a few artists that have created exhibitions, including Jaume Plensa.

He uses letters to create sculptures of people. In the image above I took at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, you can see how it is constructed and how each letter is joined to its neighbours. Being outside, the sun casts shadows and highlights certain areas of the piece, which adds another aspect to his work.

I believe most of his work is made with the intent to be interacted with which i find really intriguing.
